Common Inquiries

MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET. WILL YOU TAKE THEM?

In accordance with company policy, in an emergency situation, the pet owner will be contacted immediately. If the pet owner cannot be reached in a timely manner, the pet sitter will transport the pet to the veterinarian on file. We ask that the pet owner not schedule routine veterinary appointments during the duration of the pet sitter’s visits.

DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RARE OR EXOTIC PETS?

Our pet sitter’s have experience with a variety of animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, frogs, fish, birds, chinchillas, lizards, small rodents, turtles, bovine, goats, horses

HOW MANY DOGS CAN YOU WALK AT ONCE?

Our pet sitters only walk the pet owner's dogs together, we typically walk one to three dogs per walk depending upon the breed and temperament of the dog.

DO YOU CARE FOR ANIMALS WITH MEDICAL NEEDS?

Yes, we love animals of all abilities and are willing to care for animals with medical needs. We request specific written care instructions and a walkthrough of medical care at the meet and greet appointment. We do require a signed medical release with written care instructions to provide this service.

HOW FAR APART, AND HOW OFTEN, ARE YOUR VISITS?

Visits are reserved in 30 minute timeslots. A typical drop-in day would consist of three 30 minute visits between the hours of 7:00am to 9:00pm. The time, amount, and duration of these visits can be adjusted based on the pet owner's needs.

ARE THERE ANY ANIMALS OR BREEDS THAT YOU ARE UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO VISIT?

All animals will be considered for care on a case by case basis based on the meet and greet appointment.

HOW FAR OUTSIDE OF THE BRANDON AREA DO YOU TRAVEL?

We are currently serving the city of Brandon, SD.
